A comedy piece about how to make damper, filmed in the form of a cooking demonstration, to celebrate NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week in 2014.
The two talents Patrick and Angela, who were staff from the Department of Housing, were chosen to play out the fun banter between cooking mentor and mentee. Angela challenges Patrick on his traditional ways of cooking damper, while Patrick shares his own stories about eating damper as a kid.
I was involved in the editing and post-production (music and sound effects), while contributing to the overall concept and art direction of the film.
Work completed while employed by the Department of Housing.
