In early 2016, the Housing Authority launched a new set of corporate values. Rather than a standard “head-to-camera interview” approach to promote them, we opted to do a stop-motion animation. The goal was to create something fun, universal and reusable across many platforms. By focusing on just objects to bring these new values to life, we were able to demonstrate the values in an abstract and interesting way.
The use of classic board and card games as props were an instant hit with staff. They loved the playful references, and the Scrabble pieces allowed us to highlight important information in an engaging way.
I was involved in the creative direction, including the overall idea development, planning, storyboarding, filming and post-production (editing, sound effects and music).
Work completed while employed by the Housing Authority.
